IPHONE 4- Rdx NOT SUPPORTED/USB

what gives- Iphone comes up as NOT SUPPORTED when connected via usb. I KNOW it can play via bluetooth but the quality is substandard and I want playlist control on my screen. Any fixes? Any hope- I know APPLE is not putting this on their ios to-do list.

While I'm certainly happy it's working for you... was hoping for something a little more instructive from anyone who has the same issue?

assuming you have a 2010+ model... the USB connector was more meant to be used with a device that allows browsing of its directory structure upon being plugged in. The iphone simply does not permit that...when you plug your iphone into your PC/MAC, can you use it immediately as a USB storage device? no..this is NOT an RDX fault, it is an APPLE iphone/iOS limitation that I do not see being addressed at all. (perhaps jailbreaking MIGHT solve this?)

if you want to get a playlist, buy a 16gig USB thumb drive..load it up with all your music and leave it plugged into the USB connector.

Combat Medic has an 07 and most likely plugs his iphone in via AUX input jack.

I have exactly the same problem/limitation with my Iphone4 in my 2013 RDX, it is notable that the brand new ford my brother drives as well as new GM modelss gain access to Apple iPhone/iOS file structure just fine.......!

Acura engineers should start twitching around to the Acura Sound System Software to come up with a solution, or perhaps it has to do more to with Royalties and/or usage fees Apple charges........?

I had the problem intermittently with my 3Gs: I usually just unplugged it and re-connected to solve the issue. Haven't had a problem with my iPhone 5.

I know it's not the same phone as yours, but it might help...
