I picked up my RDX --2007 Tech-11,000miles. The previous owner used a PIN on the personal settings part of the Nav system. How do I reset this so I can use this feature.

I found out if you put the anti theft code in as your PIN it will reset

 

I didn't know that, but if you hold down menu,map guide, and cancel it will bring up the service screens and from there you can find the option to clear the memory.It will take a bit of snooping through the menus

Look on the inside of the glove box (left side) There could be some stickers with numbers. Use the 4 digit one. It worked for me.

Hi Sonomaa, I just bought a 2008 RDX for my daughters to drive and one of the things they need to do all the time after they start the car is to do what you just mentioned which is hold down the Menu, Map Guide, and Cancel. The service screens come up and then you just hit ok and then eventually you are brought to the Navigation screen and can use the Navigation as normal. Can you tell me why the car is needing this and if there is anything I can do to just have the Navigation come up on start up?

If you don’t have the code it will say locked
