How do I sync contacts from my iphone 4 to nav?

I want to be able to upload my contacts from my iphone 4 into my address book on the 2010 RDX and then voice dial anyone in my address book. (in the same way I search for a street by voice or a destination by voice in the nav system)

So far I've only been able to:

1. Manually enter the information and manually record a name to be able to voice dial; which doesn't seem to be connected to my iphone address book at all and is impractical for all of my contacts and provides no sync functionality for changes

2. upload from my iphone4 into the address book but then I can't seem to navigate by voice or voice dial at all. I have to manually use the menus and spell a name (buried pretty deep in the navigation) to reach the correct person which is impractical while driving.

I want to be able to say "Dial John Smith" instead of "Dial 212-555-5555" confirm the correct selection and then hear the bluetooth ring.

What am I missing? Or is this really not available?
Thanks

I don't believe this is an option until the 2011 RDX. I take my most common phone numbers and manually enter them in, give them a name, and all done. I don't understand the point of people wanting to import their entire phone book when really you use maybe 10 numbers tops. Your family and friends work, cell, and home numbers.

Totally agree...there isn't a huge need for an entire phonebook.

^^ Pretty simple...just say "phonebook" and it will give you the option to add, delete, edit names and numbers...It's also in the user manual under HFL (hands free link)

yeah I notice the RDX doesn't have the sync options like the BMW. but I never use the phone book in the car, just pick up the phone and dial. I think it would save me more then by picking up the phone to dial than searching through the phone book in my car. =0

I have 2011 BMW and 2008 RDX, and until you try BMW Navi and contact sync you won't know how behind Acura Navi is, this is for 07-10 models, haven't used the 2011 RDX Navi system yet. BMW syncs all contacts thru Bluetooth in under 20 sec than it's like scrolling thru mp3 player pick contact and call, super easy.

Maybe some people only call 10 numbers and have time to punch them in :o).
