A number of threads are out there on hardwiring the V1 into the rearview mirror, yet no one ever answered the most important question, what wires to use. Well using the three wire harness that connects to the rearview mirror, the dark navy wire is the "+" and black is the "-". Go to http://www.stealthcords.com/shop/home.php?cat=280 and they have the easiest, fastest way to hook it up. It gives you the telephone connector on the detector side and cable with two long metal pins labeled +/- that you simply push into the back of the wiring harness and you are done. Nothing could be simpler.

Yes, and I mentioned how to get the discount on that thread. The point of this thread was to let people know that Dark navy is the + and black is the ground.

there is a blue and purple wire on the rdx, not navy and black, blue is + purple ground, however i found that using the ground on the mirror, when i shifted from park it cycled the power (weird i know) so i put it in the prong between the two and worked fine. again check the pictures i posted (and thank you for the referal to stealth cords!)

I was not combining the colors

Navy Blue is Positive
Black is negative

If you have different colors then they might have changed with model years, mine is an '07.
