DVD-A questions

If a DVD-A comes with a stereo version, a dts 5.1 version, and a Dolby 5.1 which is playing when I put it in the car.

I know my zappa dvd-a's come with all three and I want DTS to play but the lack of source selection in the menu is slighly unnerving. I haven't put in the zappa yet because it is is nashville and I am in chicago and the only dvd-a's i brought with are the talking heads which only have the 5.1. if I insret a dic with several options will it ask me upon insertion?

Anway, any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I think if it is DTS it will says DTS on the display. May be the same for DVD-A. I think you can also look on the nav screen and it will differentiate there as well. It shows something like CD Audio DVD-A or DTS.

yes but if the disc itself has several of them. (ie. when i put zappa's halloween in my DVD home system it defualts as the 5.1 dvd-a format and starts playing. i then press menu on my remote and go to audio options and select dts 5.1 (or stereo) and then it plays it with the selcted feature) since the acura is dts compatible, i am wondering if there is a way to select the one its going to play.

I guess I wasn't clear, but it will display which ever version is playing, and you can select which version it plays as each version is in its own separate folder I believe...not positive on this and its been a while since I've listened to these discs in there. You hit the folder button to switch from version to version.
