Has anyone had any luck in getting the nav system to recognize CDDB info on CDs? You know, like title, artist, track, etc. I have 6 legitimate CDs in the car and it's only recognizing two of em.

 

It isn't CDDB info that the car is giving you, it is CD-Text info that is on the disc. Not all discs have it, in fact most do not.

 

What blows me away is the DVD-A that do not have this info (like the Acura demo disc). My god, they have 4+GB of storage and they cannot encode Artist, Title, Album, etc?

 

dvd-a can have the info but I don't think the rdx is displaying it......If you look at a dvd-a disc on the computer browse the audio_ts folder there usually is a txt file of some sort with all the info... if not usually embedded into the vob files
