blown speakers from ipod?
I've had an 07 RDX for over a year and recently it seems that my front, right door speaker is blown (or sure sounds terrible). Maybe coincidence but this seems to have occurred after I started using an ipod nano (now an iphone) via the input jack. I hate to even call the dealer since I'm thinking these speakers are not cheap to replace. Has anyone had a similar experience or have any advice? Thanks
Does the speaker sound blown when you use FM/XM/CD?
I had a similar experience with my iPod touch on certain songs in my TSX. The strong bass on the touch and sound system made it seem like the left front speaker was blown. Turning down the bass on the sound system solved the problem; but, the bass was kinda weak for other songs on the touch. I have to turn down the volume when the high bass songs are playing. I did not have this problem using CD/XM/FM.
The dealership did replace my left front speaker (close to the rear view mirror) several weeks ago on the RDX. It only made a distortion sound during FM; not during iPod/XM/CD/FM.
