has anyone tried a module like this? seem hard to install? (price is around $30)

having the headlights turn on when the car is unlocked would be nice but i dont want to screw up the electricals

is it easy to get into the dash to run a wire where the photocell placeholder is ?

also, would it be hard to put the photocell in the blank space where acura puts the photocell in the tech model?

 

Don't the DRLs turn on when you unlock the car? Maybe not but I thought they did. Maybe I'm confusing them with the inside lights turning on.

 

The DRLs only turn when you release the parking brake.

 

Not having to turn the headlight knob two clicks myself isn't worth $30 to me. *shrug*

 

This looks cool, that is one thing I don't like about the RDX (probably because my past cars and my 2nd car have this feature). $30 is pretty cheap, I'll post up a DIY once I get around to ordering this.
