Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone has thought, or actually did the swap yet? I know that the new TL's have a much higher res screen than the RDX.

How high of resolution do you need for navigation??

You probably don't NEED higher resolution, but the TL system definitely looks more polished and advanced than the RDX. By today's standards, the RDX system looks downright primitive - even cheesy.

The resolution is fine on the RDX, but i think that the navi is a little outdated for today's tech. I mean my 09 328 has the nicest looking navi screen I think I have ever seen.

I don't think that the swap should be too difficult, just need to install a HDD in place of the CD Drive. And prob some wiring changes

There will always be something newer and more 'polished'... As soon as you do it, there will be something better again....
If you have the cash and it is important to you, anything is possible.
