I recently purchased a 2008 RDX with technology package. The car is great and everything works nicely! Only issue is the blue tooth hands free link, it connect but when making calls, the sound is very faint and hard to hear the other person on the other end. I have tried increasing the volume to full blast but its still faint. I do realize this is an older vehicle with older technology, but have also read the Bluetooth modules do fail. Can anyone confirm the quality of the Bluetooth for their RDX. I am tempted to replace the module to see if it improves, but wanted to check in here first.

My 08 module was disconnected when I got the car so I don't know. I'm thinking of heating it up to fix the soldering but been too lazy.

 

I have a 08 tech with +170,000 miles and the bluetooth module still works without issues. The sound level can be adjusted from low, med, to high with the volume knob. I sometimes have to speak louder at hwy speeds because of the RDX road noise.

 

would it bother you to share how many miles this used car has, and why did you think about buying it
i’m just asking because i just bought a 2009 rdx,also with tech pack with 150000 Kms on it for 11000 CAD$ and I don’t know now if it was worth the money or not
