Wow
Wow
Received my 2008 White Diamond Pearl Base RDX today. After driving it for much of the day (how could I not) I am very impressed with it. There has been a fair amount of snow flurry activity for the last few days, and the streets are a mess of wheel ruts, messy snow, and patches of ice.
Overall, the RDX handled it like a champ. Moving from ice to chunky snow to bare wheel tracks, the RDX was never out of control, took the corners easily, and braking was very good. I was prepared to be disappointed with the tires for variable winter driving, but they did fairly well actually.
I do have a few questions for the gang here though, if you will indulge me:
1. I've been doing mostly city driving (30-40mph) today, and the range seems really low on the MID. Anyone else experience this, and will it adjust after the first tank?
2. I am glad I saw the thread about the foam liners for the compartments, as I can see how they will be appreciated. Anyone here order them from Canada?
3. The seatbelt for the driver has a plastic shield that sits just above the level of the seat, and I've noticed it digs into the seat when I get in...anyone have problems with this damaging the leather over time?
I must say, overall I am very impressed. It took some playing to get a feel for the throttle in the snow, but it worked out well overall.
Any responses greatly appreciated.
Cheers

There is a thread on here somewhere about it, they are foam pads that line all the little cargo/accessory compartments, but I can't find it at the moment. Perhaps someone will be kind enough to link it for us...
