Hey, I will soon be trading in my 05 RSX Type S for a NBP RDX--CAN'T WAIT! I hope to have it before this weekend if they get the optional chrome rims on in time!
Look forward to posting on this board! I'm coming over from clubrsx.com

Good choice and a great deal on the trade. I think you could buy a new type S for just about 21k these days if you could find one. I don't see the dealer selling your 05 for any more than 19k tops.

I saw your post on CRSX too!

So far I love it, but my kids thinks that the ride is a bit harsh and bumpy. You do feel every bump because of the stiff suspension. They are use to riding in the cushy MDX we also have.

I would make sure you take it for a good long test drive to see if this bothers you or your regular passengers (my kids never rode in one before we picked ours up, they never wanted to go with us on a test drive). Some dealers will let you take one for the afternoon. My wife showed up at my office one afternoon with one from our local dealer after driving it around for an hour or so and I got to drive it for a while before bringing it back to the dealer. Jay

I think the ride is perfect myself -- don't find it to be stiff at all.

I came over from an RSX so I am used to the ride. With 2 kids now, I needed the room as the only way to get two kids (plus a booster seat and car seat) in the back of the RSX was to remove my children's legs and my wife wouldn't let me.

On a positive note, the "stiff ride" discourages people from eating in my car.

I agree. the ride in the RDX is firm but perfectly tuned. They did an excellent job with the suspension.
