i need some ideas people...

ill be picking up my 08 in a week....i just cant figure out what i want on the car...if you have pics of different set ups (side profile), please post em up!!!

Roof rack? nothing at all? moonroof visor(i currently have that)...for you Do it yourselfevers...how easy is it to take on/off the roof rack?

im thinking along the lines of if i do the roofrack, then i need the runnings boards, but then i saw the pic of the RDX w/Vortex rims and just runnings boards and that swayed me away from the roof rack and the moon roof visor to leave a clean profile up top....im a mess!!!

(I saw the Polished metal metallic yesterday for the first time in person, and altho everyone says its not really different from the carbon gray i have....it is TOTALLY different. i parked them next to eachother and am a little dissapointed in the disparity in the colors (because i like my carbon gray...imo i think the RDX looks best in darker tones) so, i was going to buy the TSW estrolis in the hyperblack, but now since this polished metallic is a glorified silver im pretty sure im going with the vortex..)

(the rear diffuser and front spoiler are on it, along with flaps)

 

I think the running boards and roof rack are both ugly. However, if you have arthritis or some other condition and need a little extra help getting into the car, then the running boards make sense. Similarly, if you plan to carry your skis on the roof rack, then go ahead and get it.

 

I have the roof rack and body moldings and love the look!

You can go to Acura's website and "build" your car with accessories to see how it looks. Not quite the same, but it will give you the idea.

Running board, roof rack and front lip gives it a more aggressive look imho.

I like it, don't really like the stock looking rdx, it just looks blah. Clean just doesn't look good on the rdx lol, it needs the accessories! just don't rice it up with a wing or anything :S

 

i think i may do running boards (along with the front spoiler & diffuser already on it) and leave the roof clean and decide later

 

mau108, nice pic. I agree with mau108. I would add the roof rack, front lip and running boards.

 

Buy it with nothing extra. If you want to add anything, buy it on ebay at half the dealer price.

 

I believe he can wrangle a better deal out of his dealer because I believe he has an 07 that is a "lemon" thats why he got an 08 out of acura buy back ?

yes and no...not going thru lemon, acura is buying out the car because they cant fix the problem....my 08 will be a clone of my 07 (thus everything i had in my 07 they are putting on the 08) nothing else is changing deal wise

No I dont think i ever made a specific thread for it, just posted comments about it here and there along with other posters talking about issues they were having, if you want, shoot me a PM

 

Rattling sunroof, after replacing it, the rattle escalated and apparently they are replacing the car all together.

 

I got the side molding-there is nothing to protect dinks from other cars.
