Just curious to see what you've traded in to get the RDX.
I had to give up my G35 Coupe for the RDX. My G was a beautiful and fun car to drive but was not practical. Wife was not happy to see the G take up garage space during winter. I was very sad to let her go.... G35 that is.. :P

Only time will tell if RDX will be a worthy replacement for the G, but so far I'm happy with the RDX.

What did you trade in to get your RDX? Any story behind your previous car?
Same situation; I sold my '03 G35 Coupe. The clutch, tires and brakes were due for replacement, and I still ended up getting a good dollar for it. The RDX with winter tires, I'm running Dunlops, is absolutely unreal in the snow! I own a business at a ski resort so for me the decision was a no brainer I just wish it had a BIT more torque and horsepower. Does anybody know of any boost controllers?

Gave up a white '99 BMW 323i manual transmission. I had the car ordered direct from the factory and was sad to see it go. But with 2 kids it didn't hold 2 car seats comfortably and only one stroller fit in the trunk so it had to go.

So we looked at the MDX and RDX. The deciding factor was which one held our baby stuff best and it was the RDX.

In the MDX with the 3rd row seat up, you couldn't fit 2 strollers in the back. The third row would always have to be down for it to work for us. So the benefit of a 3rd row seat for hauling around grandparents and the kids was lost since we couldn't bring along the strollers too.

In the RDX, the trunk space is big enough for two strollers, and just like the MDX we could put someone between the 2 car seats if we had to.

The RDX drives pretty close to my 3 series, very quick and responsive, corners pretty darn close to my BMW so I'm very happy with it.

Traded in an '04 Honda Accord EX V6. At the time I purchased the Accord, I was looking for a nice, inexpensive car. After 3 years it just became too boring for me.

1995 Subaru Legacy. I really like the current Subarus, but wanted a bit more luxury and performance - but with some of the same functionality and safety this time around. I drive cars for 10 years at a time and thought the Honda engine would be a good bet.

2000 Nissan Xtera. I called it the snowplow. That sucker would get through the deep stuff. I was considering getting a Pathfinder instead of the RDX, but the service department at Mile High Acura is second to none. I also like the styling of the RDX better. I dont think I will have the snow clearance I had but it is worth it.

I got rid of 97 Jimmy 4x4, expensive to maintain, 260,000 km. Like the handling of the RDX, not impressed with the fuel consumption.

Just curious.... Did you have to do a timing belt and water pump on that RAV?

I just got rid of a 2001 pt cruiser which overstayed its welcome in my garage and i'm selling a 2005 300c. That car is a monster but for me it comes down to my trips in the northeast during the winter where i can honestly tell you the 300c was horrible. 1" of snow and I needed 3 people to push me out of a spot
