Well I got Mine.

All I can say is OMG there is way to much to assorb on the Tech package in one evening. I was so tired after the purchase all I wanted to do is get home, and I basicly said where are the lights, and headed home.

I've been reading this board since 2004 (I think that far back) and with all the info that I read and discussions between fellow posters, I went and got mine. Its my first new car ever, (this at 40). I was going to hold out until 2008 however ...
my 95 Integra (purchased in 96 with 8k on it) needed a valve job. I had driven it to the dealership to have it checked out(didn't know what was wrong with it, ran great for the last ten years with minimum problems).

So I went to pick up my car, but went to the sales department and asked them what they could do for me to buy a car, so I wouldn't have to deal with getting my 95 repaired. I started out with offering them $34,600.00 for the tech and wanting $2000.00 for trade in (I knew a car needing repair wasn't worth $2K, playing the game). So they offered me $500.00 and $36,700.00. I said no way and of course they come by with a few more offers $1,400.00 and $35,850 including the protection package. I walked out wanted about $400.00 better in my faver (would have waited till 2008).

Here is the kicker to you who are still reading, I went out to my car and it wouldn't run anymore the moter started and RPM's were at about 800, but when you put it into gear not enough power to move the car. So now I really want out of the 95 becasue I didn't want to deal with the towing issue. So I went back in and said hey were $400.00 apart what can you do. They ended up giving me $1,500.00 for my car and theirs (now mine) for $35,800.00.

Thanks to all who posted about getting them for less then sticker, becasue of course that was their line. FWIW they had 19 on the lot (Fresno, CA).

Congratulations and welcome to the CGP club! I've had mine for 5 weeks now and still love it. Hopefully that doesn't wear off for a long time...

There's A LOT to the tech package. Learn the basics then add things as you need to know them. But read the whole manual so you'll at least know what the system can do even you can't remember how to do it all.
