I am going to be taking my 2007 RDX to have the window wiper motor swapped out due to an Acura Service Bulletin. However, this will cost me $100 deductable (extended warranty coverage). I wanted to see what else I can tell the dealer to check out that may be covered under my warranty; that way I can get more work done/checked out besides just the window wiper motor for the $100. Any suggestions?

Struts leaking oil
A/c blowing white smoke
Rattling moonroof
Blown speakers

knock on wood - nothing but battery replaced under wty so far... I have about 6 more months left!

What is the TSB for the wiper motor?

The wiper doesn't run as set on the switch. Like if I have it on the slow setting, it'll sometimes go fast or jolt. There was a TSB for it to be replaced for certain 2007 RDXs.

I had to take my '07 RDX into the dealer (under warranty) in January this year to have my wiper motor repaired. Back then I Googled the issue and a lot of complaints came up about incorrect wiper speeds, wipers not shutting off properly, etc.

Since then, I've found this article which states the wipers are a known problem, along with two other issues:
- stereo amp doesn't always properly shut-off, drains the battery
- tire pressure display inaccuracies

i had the wiper lever replaced in my 2008 - the 2008's have a redesigned part, however mine still failed and exhibited the same issues w/the 07's.

MMike - from what i know, i don't think that's a tsb. it has happened to me too, not sure what it is though.

thanks for the feedback. i just got my car back with the motor replaced. hopefully this solves the issue. also got a nice ZDX as a loaner. =)
