I haven't read the navigation manual yet, to learn how to set the voice response. Somehow I turned this on last night. Everytime I turn the interface dial, she tells me what is selected, such as CD track #, etc. How do I turn this off?

 

It's in the setup menu called something like VOICE COMMANDS or VOICE PROMPTS and you set the level you want. high, medium, and low I think.

Odd, I didn't go into the setup menu, so I'm not sure why she suddenly wants to talk to me. I wonder if these dry santa ana winds are causing her to talk.

I did set up the hands free link last weekend to announce an incoming call. That I like.
Other than that, I only want a verbal response to one of my verbal commands.

 

hell yea.. i just figured this out last week... HELLA annoying,.... and the seatbelt warnings... so glad it can be turned off

Can't wait to turn mine off too. already have one woman telling me how to drive when i'm behind the wheel, don't need another.

 

How do you turn the seatbelt thing off? I couldn't find it in the book and it annoys the heck out of me. So you can turn the lady down, but you cant turn her off huh,theres a joke in there somewhere

 

You can turn her off, and I think you can also turn her in to a him too.....again insert your own joke here...
