Very thin clearfilm started to peel off from the headlight

Hi:
I have been noticing it for about a year. The car was bought August, 2007. On both headlights, a very thin film started to come off at the very top end of each light. Its now about an inch of space spreading down. Will dealer replace them under warranty? Thanks for any feedback!

are you within the warranty miles? they should...Can you take a pic so we see what you are talking about?

EDIT: I take that you are the first owner of the car...if not, the previous one may have put a protection film...just saying...
