V6 Rdx ?
V6 Rdx ?
Wouldn't a V-6 be cheaper to build then a turbo therefore bring a lower cost alternative?

Interesting. I thought it was argued that Acura went with a turboed 4-cylinder because they couldn't fit a V6 into the engine block. So maybe they're referring to a few years from now when they do a complete redesign.

Or they didn't want to spend time putting a V6 in, a the T4 is a great powerplant but in a car this expensive, the T4 should be option only, just for the simple fact of the bad perception of a T4cyl in a 30K+ luxoCUV.

Something to consider is that I think the current V-6 (J-series) engine is due for an update (aside from a displacement increase) so depending on what they have in store, it may have been easier to go I-4 turbo for now (sharing development costs with the CRV) and then introduce a new V-6 on a later update. TL and RL will both use the new V-6 so there may be a master plan to trickle this new engine to the MDX and RDX later on down the line. There may also be a plan to keep the V-6 out of the RDX to keep the distance with the MDX so anyone's guess is as good as mine.
