Used 2007 Acura RDX - 64k miles?

Hi

I am seriously considering an acura rdx w/ tech with 64k miles. At $20k do you think its a good deal? I am wondering with the new '10s that the price may drop soon for the older models.

I have heard that the used car prices have actually gone up due to the stress that the cash for clunkers program put in the inventory.
Is 64K kind of high miles for the age?

Yeah it is a bit high. Thats what worries me, although it does have an extended warranty up to 120k.

Dude, here is the easy way for me to look at it, look online for comparable vehicle prices, look in the resources for pricing...If the car is in the ballpark, you can afford it and you like it, go for it.
The miles seem a little high, that would be the only comment without knowing anything else about the car....I have always (before my Acura) purchased European cars with over 100K and no warranty, they worked fine....soooo....don't know what else to say.

Just for comparison...and my miles are probably low, but my 07 has only 22K

that being said, having the 120k wty should give you peace of mind.

Only should be an issue if you decide to sell soon - otherwise, if you don't drive the heck out of it, in time, the miles would become more 'normal'.

No, 07' 64K Miles for $20K, no way. Maybe $12-15K and you have no plans to keep it more than 2-3 years. At 64K miles you will have some serious maintenance schedules to pay for. New shocks, new alternator, tires, etc.. Just get a new one or a 08' with no more than 24K miles. I've seen better deals out there.

I have an 07', 3 years old as of this past August, with less than 30K miles. I would gladly sale it to you for $20K, if I had not got my wife a new car in June. I will have to wait until next year to upgrade to a newer model. I plan to sale it or trade it in next Aug.

I don't think so. My 07 has 77K miles on it, and I've had ZERO issues with it. No shocks, no alternator, no turbo, no brakes, no clutch. The thing is a rock.

I am on my 3rd set of tires........................

I was actully also looking at a 07 w/tech w25K miles for $22,995 but they sole it from under me, It was actully my girl that was looking and they offered her nuttin for her 05 TL..

Galves is what DLR's use to buy used cars/trade in's and galves on RDX's is as follows..

2009 $26,150-$27,600 with 10K miles subtract $200 for every 1k miles over
Add $2000 for tech
2008 $23,400-$24,800 with 23K miles subtract $175 for every 1k miles over
Add $2000 for tech
2007 $20,200-$21,500 with 35K miles subtract $150 for every 1K miles over
Add $1900 for tech

SO $21,500 + $1,900 = $23,400 and 29 x $150 (for over miles) $4,350

$23,400 - $4350 = $19,050 WHOLESALE in great condition

Dealer usally use the lowest number so if u where to trade that in $17,750-$19,050

So that deal sound like a PRETTY GOOD deal..

Solid state do u have a tech PKG if so I will come buy it from you for $20k IN A COUPLE WEEKS right after my girl sells her TL .

12 to 15k is a low ball seriously there is no way you’ll find an RDX at that price even with 64k miles unless it was in an accident or something.
Get a report on the car and see if it was maintained properly I say more like 19k if it’s a tech non tech I would think 16k 17k.

This is how my RDX looks:
https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-rdx-2007-2012-147/wax-new-shoes-725897/

I was just quoted 21k from Infiniti a month ago looking at trading it in for a G37S but haven’t decided yet.
I look at cars on the road all day while traveling and say to myself for 21k it’s hard to beat what am currently driving new or used.

$21,000 is right there on GALVES if you look at my breakdown for a base 2007 RDX with 36K or less if u had tech then 23K..

Hmm I didn't know about Galves. Turns out the warranty is not transferrable, only transferrable once (I would be the 3rd owner).
