Twin Cities DIY Carwashes!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's about that time of year.... When us Minnesotans need a wash pretty much every week. Yet, I have a hard time justifying paying $30 for Mister Carwashes' unlimited washes, or really anything over like $5 to get my car washed. They just don't do a good job, and I find myself re-washing windows, wheels, etc - So I decided to seek out the best DIY carwashes in the Twin Cities. I love DIYs because they are dirt cheap, don't scratch my rims or paint, and I can make sure I get it done right (just bring a towel, a mitt, and a wheel brush)
I can't do it alone, so I'm hoping for some input from the RDX community!
The two I know of right now:
Phalen Car Wash: This place features a garage door that goes up & down to seal you in - unsure if it is heated (I'll update on Tuesday when I try it out). The best news about this place is that they offer $.50 cycles on Tuesdays!!!

Wash Me Self Service: Haven't been here but I understand it is heated, same open/close garage doors to keep your car from turning into a brick of ice, and it is $2.50 per cycle. I've heard good things about this one; very comfortable in the dead of winter.

Any others out there?

Got one in Toronto i goto
70 cents a minute, first minute free, has all facilities except drier.
I use it for both my cars even if I have to go out of my way to head into that hood. Its like the only one of the liking around.

lol, if mine offered first minute free, I'd be driving in circles 60 seconds at a time...
