2009 RDX with 98k miles. I replaced the worn actuator eye bolt at about 76k miles and the code has come back for which I assume is due to the eye-bolt linkage pivot pin being worn as well.

Is this (see video) the usual cause of the worn out eye bolt or do I have another problem that needs to be addressed that would cause such severe rattling? If you watch the video closely you can see the linkage vibrating extremely fast and is what is causing the rattling sound & the P2263 code.

A snug fit of the eye bolt and linkage pivot pin prevents this? Just want to make sure I don’t have another problem that needs to be addressed before attempting to fix the worn out eye bolt and pivot pin. I plan on attempting the repair below:
