Thinking about buying this 08' RDX HELP!!

me and my wife are looking at this 08' RDX for her. i currently have a 10' TSX and i would love to get her an RDX...after combing through this forums and seeing what some of you guys have done to them i like the possibilities! and the AWD Turbo is nice, espically since there are actual aftermarket support for this car...which is kinda cool...my only question is:
is this a good deal?
and what do i need to look out for?
this would be the first Honda/Acura SUV i've ever bought

I personally waited for the '09 RDX when I bought mine. 1st year with a power passenger seat. Needed that since my wife has arthritis in her hands and can't manipulate the manual seat. 69k miles is good for an '08, not sure about the price though. Check Edmunds and KBB for that piece of the puzzle.
I have an 08 tech with +110,000 miles in the same color combo and I love this vehicle. The RDX has the engine the TSX should have.
I did a rough Kelly blue book and they put that RDX at $16,500 for a base with 70,000 miles in excellent condition for a private party sell. That would be a very good starting price for a tech model with the same mileage. If you don't need/want the tech, you do have some wiggle room to save a little $$$ on price, trade, and/or financing.
You can call Acura warranty with the VIN to see if an extended warranty might be still on this vehicle up to 80,000 -120,000 miles (powertrain warranty is gone after 6/70,000 miles). That would be around $500-$1000 savings if it is included.
Minor things I've had in the last 4 years and 80,000 miles were:
- drive side door speaker replaced (OEM warranty)
- repaint front end because of paint defect (I think it was in an unreported accident, OEM warranty).
- condensation in headlights (OEM warranty)
- replaced relay causing power draw and killing the battery after 48hrs (OEM warranty)
- replaced front passenger shock because of knocking/clunking (OEM warranty)
- replaced A/C clutch and compressor (extended TSB warranty)
- i-Vtec solenoid replacement (powertrain warranty)
- replace OEM battery (out of pocket)
- replace brake booster sensor (out of pocket)
- replace driver door lock actuator (out of pocket)
- driver side sun shade replaced (out of pocket)
- replace alternator (out of pocket)
- worn/torn center arm rest (out of pocket)
Other folks had problems with:
- weak XM signal
- rear hatch actuator not unlocking
- worn and/or torn front seats
- failed TPMS sensors
- engine hesitation/slow starting
- minor paint defects
I do routine M.I.D. service, normal tire and brake replacement, gas mileage around 17-19 combined average, and I find it easier to drive with better visibility than my TSX (extra cargo space is a huge plus).
