good point. Never own a VW beyond the warranty period. Are they still offering free oil changes? If you plan to lease only, that can save you a lot of money. I've read the RDX averages about $200 per oil change / regular service at the dealer. You can likely go to an Acura specialist (not the dealer) and save about $100 per visit when the dash computer tells you it needs regular service.

Motor Trend has the RDX on their long term fleet and says the RDX so far is one of the most expensive cars to service. So, finding a good specialist might be the best alternative to the dealer for service.

Also, I think the 0-60 times I stated above are inaccurate. I read that on some website after google searching the Tiguan, but it can't be correct. The Tiguan must be between the A3 and A4 (2.0T) performance numbers. It is heavier than the A3 and lighter than the A4. So, it's likely around 7.5 - 8.5 sec 0-60 times. We'll see in a month or so when the magazines get some Tiguans to test. So far, nobody has driven the Tiguan with the 2.0T engine, so the performance is all speculation.

Either way, you're still only enjoying it when it runs!
