So I got a RDX loaner when I bought my TL in
So I took my 04 TL in for some warranty work, all the TLs were out, they wanted to give me a TSX. I saw the RDX loaners, asked for one and they gladly gave it to me. All I can say is WOW! When the turbo kicks in the thing just pulls you back. I love it, luckily we got some snow so I got to play with the SH-AWD, I really enjoyed the RDX, wish I had it longer to drive around in. Hope you guys/gals are enjoying it as much as I did!

haha what a tease huh? you get a loaner RDX then have to go back to your TL. not that theres anything wrong with the TL, i absolutely love the TL but the drive on the RDX is totally different.

Man I love my 04 TL---it has/is the best car I ever owned. The 6 speed makes it for me but I must say, my wifes RDX is a nicer ride. The interiors better, the colors are cooler(I love the carbon grey on the RSX vs the TL's(Anthracite) and I would say it handles better. Also seems to have more low end Torque. Plus lets face it...the Turbo just sounds really cool.
Too bad its not a manual...

When I had an RDX loaner I don't think I pushed it hard enough for the turbo to fully kick in. I would notice it, right? Anyhoo, the only lag I ever noticed was when I had the automatic in Drive rather than Sport. So whenever I have an RDX loaner (which I request every time I take my car in), I just keep in Sport Mode all the time. Mama like.

I had the opposite happen. Took my RDX in and they gave me a new TL to drive. Wowie! That's one nice car, and fast too. Love the interior. I have to say, without driving one, I was not impressed at first look. But now, I dont know. Heads are turning everywhere I go. Some stop and ask me about it. Neighbors are jealious.
I love my RDX, but if you like a sedan, the new TL is very nice.
I havent tried the soprt function yet with turbo. I use the paddle shifters mostly.

the power delivery in the new TL is different, the throttle tip in is much more aggressive probably making you believe the TL is a beast....i found it to run out of breath even with its 300hp, but thats just me. For stop and go, you think there is 300hp, at more level speeds, i think it behaves like the majority of Honda/Acura engines; where is the TQ?
