im going to be downgrading cars until I get my doctorate. just dont need such a nice car right now. i have a 2007 rdx with 41.5k miles. It has the technology package. so far ive taken the car to carmax and they offered 20k. seems kind of low when most car of the same specs are selling for ~$24k. kbb says $21k for trade in and $23.8K for private party. Whats a realistic value of what i should be getting?

ive always had a thing for s2k s but weather here doesnt permit year round driving... and my insurance would be higher

 

Man if it had lower miles I would be interested! I've been looking at 07 and 08's without Tech in the 20k mile range for about 23k

Well not to a dealer. You go to a dealer and their asking price on a 07 with 40k miles would be like 24k and some as high as 27k

 

yea, im not expecting 24k. but its a starting point open to offers/ negotiations. mines in the FS thread if you want to see some pictures
