I was wondering if anyone could recommend a scan tool for the 1G RDX that can perform the tests/functions shown in the pictures I posted below. I have the dreaded P2263 code, and I would like to perform as much of the diagnosis myself - turbocharger boost system tests, turbocharger solenoid valve turning on via the inspection menu, etc. The actuator does not appear worn from the over-the-hood view (it could be worn below or the pin worn, but removing the turbo is the last resort). I know these tests were done under HDS, but I would like something more modern. I've budgeted up to 600 USD.
The foxwell not the hondata lol. I chased the 2263 code myself. It ended up being o2 sensors for me. I changed the 5 turbo actuators, the turbo, I have a custom turbo back exhaust "so the factory converter was prolly bad too" .
If you change the o2s make sure to use the OEM ones or you'll throw codes.
Good luck on the fix and the turbo itself " if needed" is easy if your mechanically inclined. Foxwell nt510 elite - 120$ roughly and will perform the solenoid / actuator tests.

TYSM - I really appreciate it
wow O2 sensors!!! I haven’t seen that come up for anybody else in all of my thread searches. How did you realize it was the 02 sensors and not anything else? And what even led you to suspect the O2 sensors?
im at the point where i feel it’s not my boost sensor/MAP/IAT sensors, and I don’t believe it’s any solenoids, but I’d like to verify
I have both NT510 and a Launch Creader Elite... the latter does a lot of special Honda functions but can't actuate the wastegate or bypass valve solenoids unfortunately. I looked thru every menu last night.
I'll check my NT510 when I get home... it's a great tool for Honda and Acura in general, but I'd be surprised if it has a module for the turbo solenoids.

Sorry for the late reply, I know the rdx stuff can be nerve racking. So I found out my o2 sensors were bad after replacing, all the turbo solenoids, the turbo, pcv valve, and anything turbo related. Of course I did the turbo last and then decided I'm going to replace these o2 sensors too. I don't have a converter I run turbo back catless.... So I couldn't tell you if the converter was bad too.
As for the scan tool it does do the turbo solenoid test. If you need pic of it connected and the option I can run through it.

Yeah the nt510 elite has the option it's deep in the menu, but you run the test from the live data section of the tool. I can post pics of you guys need and I'm sorry for replying 2 weeks later.
