recommendations for acura dealers in toronto?

hi guys,

i know this is not an rdx specific question but just taking a chance if there are canadian posters that might be able to recommend a suggested toronto/GTA dealer that might be giving good prices for the 2010 RDX which i intend to buy within this week? (or just a plain honest/dependable acura dealership)... many thanks!

I got mine from Acura in Markham. They were very good to deal with. I like them much better than Acura of North Toronto, personally. They are at Hwy 7 and McCowan.

I just found the people there easier to deal with. I just didn't find the North Toronto sales people to be as friendly or helpful, but maybe it was just my own experience

I will say, though, that the service at both is very good. I used to take my TL to North Toronto but now it is more convenient to take it to Markham.

I would suggest talking to both dealerships and see what kind of price they can give you. I dealt with Daniel Sun at Acura in Markham.

And you can always take it to North Toronto for service if that is closer. I like North Toronto's shuttle service better, actually. They usually have more service people to help you, too. Acura in Markham quite often only has 1 person available so sometimes you wait just to drop off your car. But you will get good service from either one.

thanks! syzygy... ill try to get a good deal... so far acura 2000 i called seemed to give the best price... acura downtown is a bit more expensive (eg. $300 more if i give credit card and go there, $650 more if i dont -- dunno why it is such)... ill check out the others tomorrow... there's no incentives so far that i can see of in car cost canada... (eg. only the lowered $2k price but that's been there since november)... am buying in cash but seems like that wont be of any help...

how about buying the car in america?

the dealer would be able to take care of all the import paperwork and you may save a substantial amount of money even after tariffs

try getting a quote from a dealer like in rochester or erie...don't buy from the buffalo one because they are awful

we got our rdx from acura of north toronto (yonge and steeles). No pressure there, their service department has surprisingly been very good.

thanks mau, i ended up buying mine too at the same dealership... who's your salesperson? and who do you have it serviced these days? heard the guy named winsome was ok there... and btw, i got my "brand new" car with 27kms in the odo -- is this normal with new cars here?? [i let it pass since i realized north toronto seemed reputable] -- btw i did receive pressure there for rustproofing... i declined... did you have your rdx rustproofed? if not, i guess i dont need to do it either...
