Anyone else notice this?

If I close my rear hatch with moderate force, it will latch and the MID won't complain, but it will stick out about 1/4 inch from the car. It looks like the plastic panels have an alignment problem, but that isn't the case. If I close it with more force, it looks fine. All the panels line up.

When I first saw my RDX on the lot, I thought it had an assembly problem. Noticed this behavior on another RDX on the lot as well.

Mine closes completely with very little force. So little that I think there is no way it is going to close, but it closes everytime.
