Wow! Super clean! I hope I can find the lip also. First priority are maintenance so it is taking a chunk out of my budget.
Got lucky found the lip thru my acura stealership. In my color
Even.wasnt cheap tho. Done some maint: air filter, plugs, brake pads, oil, trans flush. changed ac re-mix acutuator thingy that causes the flutter noise!! All not necessary but wanted it all fresh.

Get with the program kaputnik! I started this thread to see our current standing of current members. The previous thread was cool because it had pics, but it was ancient and like 95% of those members are not on here anymore so this is more of a current standings thread. Of course, this thread may soon become obsolete anyways in a year or two...but then a new thread can be started. Btw your NBP lookd like RBP in that pic!

This is the first SUV/CUV for me coming from an audi a4. Loved that car but since i live in an apartment very limited to the diy i can do. Anyone whos had Audi/VW knows its always maintenance!!
The RdX reminds me of the 90 civic Si i had many years ago just on steroids!!Still getting used to her.
^^NBP is loaded with blue, and also a little purple metallic flake. It looks midnight blue in bright sun, if the paint is really well-maintained.
The left half shows how much the blue flake pops after some correction work!
Loving the blue flakes! The one thing I hate about RBP is that it has no real depth to it. More of a flat color with gloss. But then again, it begs to be taken to a real detail shop and done up. Acura paint is really really soft stuff! My german cars always had HARD paint.

Mine is not black. It is Royal Blue Pearl, I originally really wanted white, silver, or grey like yours. As much as I love dark colors, it is a pain in the ass to keep clean. Sneeze on it and it gets dirty. Think about it and it gets dirty, dream about it and it gets dirty. I had 3 touaregs before....I know ALL about VW/Audi maintenance and how they tried so hard to make diy impossible. But damn VAG knows how to build a car!
RBP is definitely a nice color, i dont see many in that color, usually
white, silver or black. Mine shows dust quick!! Yeah agree with you
VAG, they build tanks. Want to mod my RDX but not much of an aftermarket. Biggest thing i miss from VAG group is the forums and aftermarket were a bit more alive. Thankful for you guys on this page. Great info from everyone here. Like that the RDX is somewhat of a unicorn but it also limits us. Mostly want to figure out wheels, this thing has donuts for wheels.
I almost got an 09 tech in the red/parchment in Sept 2014 when I bought my NBP. It only had 37,000 miles, but the dealer wanted 23k for it. My wife has a 2010 Honda Element in that same red color, and I really wanted the black interior. The red still looks great to me though.

I agree, many many black and also many many carbon grey or that brownish grey color. I love how rare it is, should pay dividens in resale time! Yup tank is what comes to mind with VAG. A bit more alive? You mean busting at the seams and because everything was shared, it was almost too easy getting parts even for more undesirable models like the beetle 2.0t for example. I was SO close to getting a tiguan, but backed out last minute because timing chain failure scared the hell out of me.
I would say the guys on here worked really hard for this unicorn, we have sway bars, flash tuners, I beleive coil overs. Better intercoolers...etc. They tried hard and still try hard!.

New member here, I have a 2007 RDX with 82K that I've had about a year. I've installed a ETS Intercooler, Hondata Reflash, Eibach Lowering Coils. Next install is ATLP Exhaust and Progress Rear Sway Bar as soon as their off backorder. BC Coilovers and 18x8.5 Miro 111's in the spring. I bought the car with the Eibachs installed. The RDX also came with sport running boards, LED fog lights, body side moldings, rear valance, and very high end window tint job. I bought the ETS intercooler for 800.00 and installed it myself, the install was very easy. Hondata reflash was 350.00. The ECU is very easy to take out for the reflash. I can really feel the difference. I also want to look into the RV6 Downpipe modification. I too want the parking sensors kit, I've priced the parking sensor kit its also on my to do list. I also had the paint touched up on the whole car.

I have a 2012 RDX tech CBP bought new in January 2013. Was a leftover one still in their inventory. Have approx 12,000 miles on it. Really enjoy driving it.
Here's my RDX and a pic of my little sister being taught what good cars look like at an early age. Mods that I've added are niche targa 20x8.5, hondata flash, k&n cai, and hid fogs. 156k and going strong!
I'm still here and pop in from time to time to see whats new, even if I don't post much.
Going on year 3 with 2010 RDX, got it with 30,000km and just crossed over 60,000km last week, still love it. Although I do find my eyes wandering over to the new MDXs......especially with two kids now...
Just got back from another Tahoe ski trip. The Michelin XI2 Latitudes are great.
What a fabulous ski trip and snow car! The turbo is so smooth at high elevation and cold weather, just pulls like a beast.
Nice! Rdx looking amazing! I also have the same snow tires and love them! Very very confidence inspiring. The other day I had one rear tire on a patch of ice, I was watching the mid, it was so cool to see the car sending all the rear power to the other rear wheel with traction.
I don't currently own a RDX but had leased a 2012 RDX with Tech. She was black and belonged to the wife. Wanted to chime in and say that I really miss that RDX and when the wife opted to return it, kind of wish that the RDX stayed and she left instead lol jk. Seriously, I do miss it. On a good note, we are picking up a 2016 RDX with tech color blue but she is not the same as the 1G RDX.
2008 Base, polished metal metallic in South Carolina. I've had the car for about a year and a half now and it's been great. Love the performance, and it's also fairly easy to work on so I've enjoyed doing some basic stuff -- plugs, belt, fluids, etc. Fun to add to my turbocharged backyard (old Saab and newer Saab for more turbo fun).
I'd post a pic but my poor RDX is currently green. It's like a pollen blizzard hit this week and there's no point in washing the car for another few days.
Btw - Today i just received the recall letter on the airbag actuator, will opt for the loaner car from Enterprise and park the RDX in my garage for the duration
