That is the most retarded thing I have ever seen. Why didnt they just take it to a AWD dyno? How can you remove the driveshaft and then give Dyno #s that are going to read HIGHER than a AWD dyno and be taken seriously?

Um..how does the two wheel dyno yield accurate results with the SH-AWD diverting power to the rear wheels?

they disconnected the driveshaft thus eliminating the ability to send power to the rear wheels.

Basically they gave us inflated numbers since on an AWD dyno or on the street the car will loose more power (but make up traction).

they stated that Acura might have given the HP rating lower than is actually there...they said maybe 260-270 hp....I dont think so, its fast but not nearly as explosive as my tl...was.

They are very mistaken. If the car is putting out 215 whp on a 2WD dyno then that means it will most likely be putting down about 183 whp on a 4WD dyno.

I am basing this off drivetrain loss for my WRX which is an AWD vehicle.

227 HP ---> 170 WHP +/- (57 HP Loss on a Mustang AWD Dyno)

240 HP ---> 183 WHP +/- (57 HP Loss on a Mustang AWD Dyno)
