Check out the last RDX pic in this CAFI article (link below). Looks incomplete (no side mirrors or door handles), but definitely liking the metal trim around the windows and integrated exhaust ports. If they had made these changes with the 2010 model, I'd be driving one right now (and screw the savings account!). Maybe in 2012?

That's the old concept from at least a year before the RDX was released. The side "mirrors" were cameras and it had high pressure air nozzles instead of windshield wipers.

 

This would have been a MAJOR improvement over what they actually did on the 2010s rear end!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

^^ Totally agree, except I could live without the metal plating -- disrupts the visual flow. Thought the pic might be old news, but wasn't sure since the taillights look similar to the ZDX concept pics.

 

Even the stance, rims, tires....everything about that pic looks better than the 2010.

If that was the 2010 RDX I'd be regretting my 09 purchase right now instead of LOVING my 09 and laughing at the 10!

 

I actually like the looks of the 2010 better, except maybe for the foglight housing. Still have to see it in person though. If I think I have the strength to resist buying one on the spot, might go within the next week or so just to check it out and satisfy my curiosity. Will report back with critique if so.

 

They did to the ZDX what we wanted an saw in the concept RDX. Maybe the next gen RDX will incorporate those changes. Good for me, cause I have a 2008 RDX and can wait for the next version.

 

Owning an 09 I would say 2013 will be my next purchase which would coincide with the next gen RDX as well.
