Protecting new RDX paint surface
Protecting new RDX paint surface
I recently ordered some KLASSE sealant glaze to apply on the new paint surface of the RDX. Not sure if this will work better than the P21S Carnuaba wax, in terms of shine.
I have always used P21S on my black TSX, and the shine is phenomenal, with great depth and a shimmering wet look.
But I have also read about the KLASSE products, and I am looking to see if it really does provide long term protection (about 6-8 months), compared with 1-3 monthswith the P21S.
Anyone used KLASSE products before?

Klasse is great. The sealant does seem to last longer than other products I have used.
Be sure to use the sealant sparingly -- it does not require a lot. You basically want to rub a thin haze of it over the surface. After it dries for a few minutes, I wipe with a damp micro-fiber towel and then shine with a dry one.

I am using Klasse sealant on my RDX, it is great stuff.
To reach most of the roof, I stand on the rear tire, grabbing the roof rack to get up on the tire. This is one other use for a roof rack besides carrying stuff!
