I have had my 2011 RDX since January, and I must say I love the stereo. I came from a 2002 MDX, and it was not that great, and my wife has a 2009 CTS, and although it's a good stereo, it does not have nearly the quality of sound that my RDX has. I have been pleasantly surprised by how good it sounds.

I also love the ability to play music from my cell phone through the bluetooth. No more wires to deal with. And I listen to my ipod a lot as well, and it's great that with the UBS connection I can keep it in the center console and out of view, but yet still control it with the audio controls.

All in all, I am very happy with the audio system of the RDX.

 

Congrats on your new RDX! Enjoy! It's an awesome ride. I agree, the stock audio system is quite good. I am also very pleased with it. Hi-Quality MP3 and XM radio sound great.

 

Is yours stock or the Tech Package. I have the Tech Package in my TL and TSX and the stereo systems are fantastic.

Have you tried the DVD-Audio yet? It's hard to find discs anymore, but if you do, they're worth it.

 

+1. congrats on your new car. personally, at first, i thought i was just too ancient to appreciate these things (eg. not an audiophile) hence anything was "good". didnt realize that the rdx audio is par excellance.

 

I just have the stock, which is what makes it that much nicer.
