Price Check - 08 RDX (NY).
Hi all,
Went by the local Acura dealer here in Long Island, NY.
$33,000 for a 08 Base RDX before tax, fees, etc.
What do you guys think of that price?
Thanks!

Okay I know I posted already, but do not take that price, you can get one a invoice, 33K is darn near sticker, you can do SO much better, go to another dealer, get their price and see if its better, and make the other beat it, or get an online quote, which is better if you don't want to "haggle".

Thank God for forums. ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks for all the replies guys! I did not know they could be obtained at invoice or close to it. The car is for a buddy. He is not sure if he wants to proceed w/ the purchase yet. I will keep all your comments in mind when the time comes to pull the trigger.
Thank you once again! I sincerely appreciate it!

BTW, the dealer (Rallye Acura) said they have a hard time keeping RDXs in stock as there is such a high demand for it. I checked their back lot where they keep their stock and sure enough they only had one or two RDXs in stock.
My sales person (who happens to be a manager as well) said they only get 7-8 RDXs per month and most are sold well ahead in advance. Half of the RDXs that come in are Tech equipped and the others are not.
Are there any New Yorkers on this board who has bought a new car from Rallye Acura at invoice or close to it?
Thanks again!

My 07 tech was 33200+ roof rack and side running boards, 34000.00. An 08 base for 33000?? NO WAAYYY ! Just say 30k flat, if not, then just leave and go to another dealership who is willing to do business with you.

Rallye is a great place to buy a car, very honest people.
I got my TSX there, but I got it for MSRP. They do not budge on the price, they price them according to the time of release and demand.
They gave me a 2005 TSX at 26,200 when the 2006 was released, but i told them later that i wanted an 2006 so i paid 27,500 instead. Rallye only goes cheaper when the model year is around changes.

They say its 33,000 on the website, technically tey bought it for 30000.
They need to make money off of it
Thats why they dont want to budge.

$33K for a Base RDX is awful. I paid $31.4K for a 2008 Base RDX in July after talking to 8+ dealers within 150 miles of my house.
You can do MUCH better.
I would say $31K to $31.5K would be a fair price, and you could probably do better if you find a motivated dealer.
