Well it was overcast today, and I only had my Coolpix instead of my SLR but here are some pics of the new color, Polished Metal Metallic. Tomorrow if it is sunny I will line up an Anthracite, CGP and PMM and get some pics of the 3 TLs together with my SLR.

Thanks for the pics man! Not sure how I feel about it...looks a bit darker than anthracite, but just as blah on overcast days (I guess all cars do though). How would you say it compares to Lakeshore?

oops! Sorry jc. I saw these through your other post about the memory seats switch in the door panels. That would be a great compairison for all the colors, but IMHO, the CGP is still the best!

I guess I don't really see the point. It looks like CGP to me. Is it a little lighter maybe? Just doesn't seem like anything to get excited about.

I just noticed that in the top pic you can see a portion of a CGP TSX. You can see it is lighter by comparison. I have always thought that CGP had a slate-blue-ish hue and the Lakeshore more of a purple-ish hue, while this appears to have more white in it. Carbon Bronze is still my fave w/ Nighthawk Black right behind (when just waxed!)

this looks like the same color the TL has had for years...Which essentially is a gray.
The CGP of the RDX is a bit darker and has a somewhat blusih tint in comparison.
I personally prefer the CGP. I have no idea why Acura dropped it...it was IMO the best color for the RDX.

I think dampfnudel is wondering what it is. I never heard of it either til yesterday on this forum. Lakeshore is a colour exclusive to the RL. Like jcbridges said, it's a medium gray colour that has a purple-ish hue to it.

I have no idea why Acura got rid of CGP either. But hey, they also refused to add power passenger seats and added oddly placed memory controls. Who knows what they're thinking.

Well it was shitty and overcast today too, so no new pics. I will update with more as soon as we get a nice day. Also, we do not have any Lakeshore RLs, so no go on adding that to the pic.
