Hi everyone,

My car is 2007 RDX Tech package. When I picked up the car two weeks ago, the display of Navigation and Backup Camera didn't work at all. All the buttons at Dial Interface were not functional. However, I can see some light for the screen backlit, and the radio + aux is still working properly.

I brought the vehicle to the mechanic and here was what they tried.

• Unplugged the battery (negative cable) for more than 30 mins => Not working
• Checked all the fuses (under the hood and under steering wheel => All fuses are connected properly

Finally, they told me that the stereo module is broken and advised me to look for a used part to buy. I’m looking up stereo module for this model but I’m not sure whether the search results are I’m looking for. Can anyone help me please?

Thank you for the links. I'm not sure if the Audio Unit is necessary since the it is functional.

For the Navigation System, there are many parts in it. Can you please let me know which part I should go with?

I don’t have much information about the diagnosis. My mechanic guessed the problem is about the nav screen. He tried to change that with the replacement ordered from ebay. Same issue, it didn’t work.

I think the problem is about something else related to electricity. What is the best option now?

 

The issue has been solved. After having the service manual, I figured out the solution.

=> The navigation unit (the DVD player bottom the central console) needs to be replaced. I found the part and it works.
