Base = lighter apparently according to wikipedia the SH-AWD system found in the rdx and rl was originaly designed for the prelude. To bad it wasn't totally implemented (it has the SH ATTS system not AWD)

Ooh nice pics. How was the North Toronto dealer? Did they give you a good deal? I'm thinking it's a tossup between North Toronto or Markham Acura but I have yet to visit both.

They gave us an alright deal. It came with a ton of aftermarket accessories and rust proof and undercoating for 50g's taxes in.

1.9% Financing

I'm not a fan of North Toronto. Sales people didn't take me seriously on 3 separate trips when I was checking out the RDX. Markham was way more accommodating and helpful. Neither gave great deals....so I ended up going to Acura of Hamilton. I didn't have the best experience with them but you can get a good deal if you come prepared knowing your stuff.

Nice pics Mau! That neighborhood looks sooo familiar...is that scarlem or markham?

Ya North Toronto's tactics seem to be "no pressure". I got pissed off a bit when we walked through and non of the sales reps came up to us (they weren't doing anything either)

The RDX was an impulse buy (we were in market for a 4 door saloon like toyota camry hybrid or accord) but when we tested the RDX we just fell in love.

We test drove and purchased that car the same hour

The hood is Thornhill (Vaughan).

Nice pics...the Prelude was my favorite 2 doors coupe when I was younger. How much did you pay for the front spoiler and the running boards (including labor)? I am debating to get those two accessories or not. It does make the RDX looks nicer. Good job!

It truly is a shame Honda discontinued the Prelude, as it really was their platform for bringing cutting-edge technologies to market. No, the ATTS was not the ultimate application of SH-AWD but its premier in the Prelude (a la 1997) marked Honda's first introduction of such a system in the mass market. Of course other innovations like 4-wheel steering never made it to other Honda products, but it was really cool for them to have a car who had the express purpose of demonstrating the kinds of technologies Honda was working on.

Anyway, nice car and it looks great with that body kit!

Picture Thread? Sure; I dont think there is an official picture thread of strictly member's RDXs' or their cars in general.

I'll contribute...
