OFFICIAL: RDX picture thread...

Blah Blah Blah I got my RDX whooptie doo. We all know what it costs and how raped everyone is getting and will be getting for thier first run RDX that will screw u in problems while everyone who pays sticker or less in 6 months gets the true problem free signature honda quality vehicles.

A little bitter about my minor problem ridden 1004th TSX ever built, 2nd one ever sold at Courtesy Acura in Orlando? Maybe, but I do love the RDX soooo

In this thread you will post pics of the RDX thats in YOUR (or ur friends/family's) Driveway!

We all know what the magazine and press release photos look like. So post em' up guys!!!

I'm with you on my 2004 TSX and it's little nuances. My A/C has been going hot lately sometimes but everytime I take it to the dealer it runs cold as can be. My steering wheel radio buttons messed up the other day and were doing things backwards. Of course the next day everything was back to normal. My CD player is skipping now when it's playing burned CD-R's. Also, my damn TSX is burning oil...still haven't figured out what is up with that yet.

Anyway, I want to trade it in for the RDX as well, but I am going to wait until it's been out for a while and they start to deal on them a bit. I'm not in that big of a hurry to get a new car.

I did test drive one though...I was impressed with it and the wife liked it a lot too. Just enough room for us, and maybe a young'in in a couple of years.

Here are some pictures of a black RDX with the custom chrome wheels from Acura. I prefer the silver star to the chrome though.

so if the 19" RDX wheels are $3500, how much for the chrome version we see here?

whatever the price, whoever owns those wheels really needs to tire black.

Those wheels were on one of the Honda Executives RDX's that they have been driving for a while. Our Acura dealership got about 6 of them in here last week for whatever reason but they all had massive wear on the tires and inside so you can tell they have been driven.

And the 19" chrome don't cost $3500...I believe they're closer to $2100 and the silver star version is $1800+.

Every dealer has different price. Its not going to be one set price for all dealers.

I have a '06 TL ASM and the rear fender is off. similar to what I see with this picture.

I see this alot with Honda Accords, that the fenders don't match the hood.

I prefer a more well defined bumper instead of the overhanging lip.

I didn't want to throw a wet towel on rsbell66's new purchase but I noticed the same.

To each his/her own. I like a more integrated look even though repair costs are higher for even a minor rear-ender with an integrated rear bumper.

It seems like a lot of the RDX colors change from different angles. I & our dealer really noticed this on the Bronze and the Red - below shows a lot of variation at different angles. Still waiting on my Red tech - it has supposedly been in transit since before the official on sale.

Yeah, you don't just have to repair the bumper but the hatch as well.

Very nice! What level of tinting did you get? What did you pay for the car?

This is why the lower end of the RDX's hatch is made of plastic. . . repair costs should be drastically lowered (vs other "bumperless" designs). . . but yes, it still needs to get repaired.

bump.

for the new owners who want to show off their sweet ride.

rsbell has a nicely loaded RDX (page 1) for those wondering about the front skirt, side moldings, rear diffuser, and running boards.

here's my crappy photo of a carbon bronze taken off a local dealer's lot.

A couple of impressions not based upon "actual" specs...

The RDX is MUCH lower riding though the headroom seems only slightly diminshed. I can easily wash the roof of the RDX from ground level while the MDX requires me to stand on the step bars.

The length is definately shorter. Probably 6" or so. The width is also about 6" thinner. The 2nd row in the MDX you can place a child seat in the middle with no overlap to the other 2 seats. The RDX if you place the seat in the middle it encroaches both other seats.

The MDX is definately a bigger vehicle though not by much. It's a different vehicle all together than the RDX even though the looks are similar. I prefer the look of the new RDX over the new MDX which is why we passed on the MDX this time.
