Unfortunately, I think that I'm going to have to give up on the RDX. The deals that I have been able to get are not nearly as good as all of the ones quoted here. The best I've gotten from anywhere within a 100 mile radius of home is about $35,900 for tech with the automatic mirror. It's looking like the CRV or Rav-4 for me. Maybe the Lexus. We'll see.

Thanks for all of the help on these boards.

The numbers are very promising. If you look at the MDX the sales are very solid , the CR-V is off the charts, which while a *competitor*, you will see a crossover of CR-V buyers to the RDX performance platform.

As far as a new vehicle appeal, the RDX is well positioned in the growing CUV segment. The new positive reviews from Consumer Reports, Motor Trend and other mainstream magazines can only help sales. The only knock will be the fuel prices, but by spring we should be sitting in a car that will have good resale values.

I also just spoke with Greenwich and they weren't willing to budge much at all! I've been looking in the area. What kind of deal are you guys getting from Bedford? I might be interested in the drive and a referral if their numbers are good. Thanks!

When I was getting email responses 3 1/2 wks ago, some of the quotes I received were similar to yours. I responded back saying that I'm expecting other quotes back in the $34 - $35 range, based on what others are reporting on Acurazine. Most all responded with revised quotes that were lower. I bet you'll see lower prices during the last week of December.

Unless you go to a dealer, and specify that you intend to buy a car TODAY, you're not going to get the dealership's best price. When asking for a casual quote, you'll get a casual answer.

As mentioned going at month end, when a dealer has the exact car on the lot that you want, is a significant advantage to the buyer.
