The hoods on those Nissans are so huge. Lots of front overhang too make it look front-heavy.

wow is that all 175 hp? and the interior doesnt impress me at all. i guess when your use to the RDX or any Acuras interior your standards are just higher. all i have to say to Nissan, good luck!

Meh, the styling doesn't really do it for me. But that's pretty good power from a 4cyl. The CRV only puts out 166 with the same displacement.

I really like Nissan but that is just terrible! Very generic body. Not feeling that one at all.

i really hate that front grill. a major design flaw that makes decent cars like murano and maxima so damn ugly and despite how mechanically stable is not worth getting just because of that front grill... ugh

I think it's a 2.5L 170hp instead of 2.4L with 175hp.

I agree with the article, it looks a lot like the new Santa Fe. Not bad looking, just eh, so-so. I'm also not a big fan of that grille. Agree on Acura's/Honda's interiors being among the tops if not THE tops.

They dumbed down the design for NA. Too bad. I think the Qashqai thing is a lot more interesting: http://www.autoblog.com/2006/09/28/p...issan-qashqai/

Indeed. 175hp is a deal killer. In one's search for a car there has to be certain thresholds and power is one for me. Others are handling, reliability.

Oh! And yet another is gadgets

Yesterday I test drove a RAV4 as they now have a 269hp engine option. The engine is the real deal -- very punchy -- but it can't hold a candle to the RDX in style, handling, and most importantly gadgets
