New RDX Owner Signing in with some Questions

Hello. I'm not completely new to the forum, I have a '03 CL type S (actually for sale) but new to this side! Anyway, just bought a cert. pre-owned '09 RDX SH AWD TECH in metallic grey/ebony int. (I'm pretty sure) w. 24k in excellent condition last night! I had been looking for the past couple months and finally found a great dealership to work with and the right RDX on the lot.

While browsing I have seen a lot of you have the front lip, rear diffuser, running boards, etc. Is there are preferred spot to purchase this or any deals? Ebay? website? stock #s? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures to follow, it's way to cold out.

Happy New Year,
James

Thank you. I am not used to being able to purchase new OEM parts coming from the CLS.

You should check out the supporting vendors on this forum first if they can provide you with a good price.

If not; check out magauto.com
I had order from them in the past and they are normally pretty good.

I purchased everything for my 08 RDX from Curry Acura. All prices include shipping. I think the front lip is a must have for the RDX, it completes the look. The all weather mats are a life saver and they look good also. I would also recommend the cargo net to keep objects from rolling around in the back. The only thing bad about the rear diffuser is it looks better on a lighter colored RDX. It will disappear on a darker color RDX the further away you get.

Once I got my front lip installed, I also put on a 3M clear bra for the front, side mirrors and headlights.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't agree more on the front lip and the all weather mats. Just ordered the all weather mats but I will wait till winters end to get the front lip.

Are there any other simple upgrades/ tweaks I should know about?

The main Tweak is Hondata reflash of your ECU for $295+shipping+labor: http://www.hondata.com/reflash_rdx.html

You have to find a 3rd party vendor that works with Hondata to reflash your ECU:http://www.hondata.com/dealers.html

The Hondata reflash will:
Rev limiter raised to 7200 rpm. (sportshift mode only)
10-20 Hp gain everywhere - 26 Hp at peak.
33 ft lb torque at 3300 rpm

No other engine mod comes close to the bang-for-the-buck value of Hondata. The RDX is more fun and easier to drive with the extra power.
