Lowest Offset for Wheels?

Just curious. Since the stockers have a 7.5" width and a 45mm offset, they tend to look like they are sunken in. IMO, it looks kinda crappy.

I would like to improve on this look. I figure they need to stick out about another inch to really look good and flush. Most wheels I can find are only a 40mm offset and 8" wide or 45mm and 8.5" wide. Both move the wheel edge out less than half an inch. I do not want to use spacers.

Anyone know if you can run something like a 20mm offset or is that crazy talk?
