Looking for Ebony Interior Cleaning Tips

I love my RDX but this is the first car that I have owned with black interior.

Someone knicked the glove box door and the scratch is kind of whiteish. Any ideas how to fix this besides a black sharpie??? Will all scratches show up light colored?

Also, does anyone have a recommendation on what to use on the interior for cleaning, etc?

Thanks

Constant attention.
When I had black interiors ( never again in a daily driver ) I found that taking a dish towel that I had wet with water, then rung out, every other day or so into the car, and doing a quick wipe down of dash and seats , door jambs etc, helped.

The key is keeping up with it, and using very mild cleaners.

Good luck, I have a loaner today, red on black. My car is red on gray. I like the black, seems to change the personality of the car quite it. Howver, I do not like that the headliner and pilars are gray.
I bet the black would look nice with the wood accents.

Myself and my dad swear by just a washcloth rinsed in warm soap water and that really does the trick of cleaning the seats, dash, plastic frame around the door, etc. ANd it doesn't leave any of that shiny or sticky residue that some cleaners leave such as Armor All. I hate that crap.

I just responded to another post regarding the whitish stains that don't seem to come out. The mark I have is on my glove box. It's really strange because nothing seems to get it out (soap, cleaner, water). I feel like Bill Clinton and my RDX is Monica's dress. =(

I have a water stain of the drivers seat (ebony). It just looks a little darker than the rest of the leather. Any ideas?

Just in general, I have used Maguiar's products inside and out for over 20 years now and have always been impressed.

For paint care remember that wax is a coating...it is only to be put over paint that has been polished first with a good polish or glaze.
