Thumbs up Just received my RDX Weathertech liners.

Just received Weathertech lines for my RDX. I purchased for the front, rear and cargo. At first glimps they look great, and the large lip all the way around I can see will be a great improvement over traditional rubber floor mats.

Great product!

around $300 for everything, right? kinda expensive, haven't pulled trigger yet..

question, do you feel it's too thick for summer/fall time? it seems most ppl use the digital fit ones in winter time and then switch back to all season mats in summer time.

Thanks!

Mine arrived last week, only to realize that I ordered "post" type by mistake and not "twist" type. DOH! I only plan to use these from November-April so all the snow/salt/elephant shit stays off the upholstery.

Here are the pics of the Weather tech. liners in my RDX. Just took them on a 1500 mile trip and, have the admit they are great, not slip, easy to clean, and dirt stays inside the mat.

Great investment!

A little off topic, but would you get the tan mats for the taupe interior or the black mats?

I thought we had post style? I am thinking of ordering the the digitalfit floor liners and am, now, not sure of whether to get the post or twist style?

Nice. I got the all-season mats when I bought the car, but the OEM cargo tray is not going to cut it. I may go ahead and get the Weathertech one, as it covers the entire cargo area.

I like that rear cargo better than oem, I like that it covers the entire area, the oem does not.

The RDX is TWIST style. My sales guy made sure to tell me this at delivery.

I just received my cargo liner yesterday. Haven't put it in yet because the car's been at the tint shop since yesterday morning.

I would get black. Taupe looks gray to me, so tan mats would look weird, I think.

That's exactly why I got the Weathertech liner. I didn't realize the OEM mat only covers the first part of the cargo area, which is dumb. In my TSX, the mat covered the entire trunk, so that's what I expected from the OEM liner.

My '07 RDX is post style. The '09 TL is twist. So I assume that change occurred with the 2010 MMC on the RDX.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous that the OEM one is such a pile.

OP, those mats look sweet, nice coverage and easy to clean FTW!

I have had such a great experience with the Weather techs. I am not sure that I will take them out in the summer. Extremely easy to clean and they look great.

My WeatherTech floorliners just arrived, rear fitment is perfect, but front less so. They fit yea, but could be better IMO.

In the pic below, the driver and passenger sides are reversed - that's just the way I laid them out right from the box.

How much do these cost in Canada? Debating if I should get the OEM all weather package or just buy the weathertech liners after.

you are out east right? I have placed the order this past Thursday, the night I made the deal on the RDX. Mine will probably take a little longer to get out to me in Calgary. Went with these after seeing how much the OEM mats were and how the trunk tray did not even cover the entire trunk.

Plus 1.
I am still using the backseat dog cover for the trunk when I bring my pup out to the park.

Hi all,
I'm selling my Weather Tech Cargo Liner. You can have it for $90. It was in my 07 RDX but I sold my car last month. It's black color and in excellent shape. If anyone interested in, please let me know. I'm in Boston area, if you are local we can arrange pick up. I can ship it out, you just pay for the shipping cost.

If someone can tell me how to post pics online I will do that. Otherwise I can send pics to your email.

Wow I didn't know the Weather Tech mats cost more than the OEM ones! After seeing these pics (and the ones on WeatherTech's website) I think I may spring for these over OEM. Coverage seems a LOT better with these. Nice to know that Acura added a floormat post to the passenger side in new RDXs...my '07 doesn't have a post on the passenger side (that I know of) and the mat is always flying around.

Ah! That's what happened. So, on my 08 RDX, I have posts. They look like little hooks though, that's what they call posts?

sorry to bring back an old thread, but did anyone purchase a set of these digitalfit liners that actually supports the factory twist lock?

i purchased mine back in aug and i selected the twist lock option but they came without any opening, and their customer service insisted that this is the correct design.

i also have a set for my 2012 TL and they can be locked using the factory twist lock, and i kind of don't buy their explanation but instead i feel like they're just trying to get rid of all the old stock.

They've sent you a post version. You should make a picture and email it to them along with the p/n that you will find on the back side of your mats. I had the same issue with them 4 years ago and after a short email communication they sent me the correct one.

Thanks for your input. I actually sent them numerous pictures but they refused to admit that they've sent me the wrong type. I will go back and push harder this time knowing they can support the factory twist lock.

here's the reply from weathertech (ronn):

"The liners can be returned for a refund if you like, we do not have another option for your RDX"

so what he's saying is that the RDX liners cannot support the factory twist lock, even though it is an selectable option when placing the order.

it'll be great if anyone who ordered these liners that support the twist lock can post pics so i can go back and provide evidence. otherwise, i'm going to return them because they do not sit well without any locking mechanism whatsoever.

Thats BS. Call them and have a talk with some manager. Tell them they guarantee the perfect fitment on their website. Plus its available during the order process.
