iPhone with RDX

I was thinking of getting an iPhone thru Verizon. Does anyone know if it'll work seamlessly with the RDX Bluetooth? PS. I have an '08 RDX non-tech.

I was planning to upgrade the wife's 3GS iPhone to the 4GS on our 08 RDX. The 3GS has worked perfectly with our vehicle for the last two years. Are there any updates or upgrades to the RDX bluetooth? It can't be the exactly the same firmware for the 07 to 12 RDX BT modules.

What type of problems were you having with the 4GS with your 07 RDX?

I replied to the OP's duplicate thread in the Electronics section.

My 4S works fine with my 07 Tech. Siri doesn't work, but I never expected it to, and for the same reason you can't use the iPhone's voice dialing and contact list directly. Unfortunately, the RDX doesn't use a 'passive' type BT system like headsets or most BT speakerphones.

Thanks for the info, I only tried once and gave up, I prefer the headphone anyways since it allows me to listen to things my little ones are not allowed to, and the sound is better.

Actually here is an update....You can still use Siri and the Phone through the BT in the car, but you will still need to operate the phone with your hands. You need to "activate" Siri and wait, by the time that the BT realizes that Siri asks you a question, Siri goes to sleep again, so you can repeat the command through the BT if you press the microphone (Siri) on the phone screen. I sent a text (voice to text) and called my wife this morning.
I wish I could do a video to better explain what I am talking about.
