interior lights

finally after 4 years, changed the interior lights and door courtesy lights to LED whites. Looks really good. wonder why car manufacturers continue to use incandescent lighting.

Same thought here. The 4G TL uses LED except for the door/courtesy lights which are incandescent.?

Where'd you get them? What color?

My S4 has LED foot well lighting, but uses incandescent bulbs everywhere else... It puzzles me even more when they mix and match both together!

They are the ultra white LEDs and i got them from ebay. Got them for the map lights, dome light and door step lights, generally 168 bulbs and 2825s. Looks really cool when we open the door to get into the car at night.

The map lights were quite difficult to replace, as the factory ones seemed to be really stuck to the socket, needed a bit of yanking out.

So any of the top 7 of these would work? They all say 'fits in 158 168 194 921 2825 W5W'... so those could work?

I'd like to replace the map lights, the back overhead light, cargo light, and maybe license plate light..

Yup, but 168 is the more common name, basically a bulb with t10 fitting socket.

The dome light is different from the rest of them, 2825 festoon led bulb.
