Hi All,

Just called my insurance company to add our new 08 Tech, and, since insurance never actually goes DOWN (ha), I'm trying to pull out all of the discounts I can.

They said if I have a method of electronically recovering the vehicle I would be eligible for a discount - I assume AcuraLink or similar can be used to locate the vehicle? Any ideas? Apparently I just have to fax "proof" to the insurance company. Anyone ever done this? Or is the RDX not electronically recoverable in stock form?

You would have to have OnStar or LoJack for this discount, everything else doesn't qualify

my insurance agent advised me against LoJack. The insurance savings were too small ($20-30 per year) to justify it. He also told me it depends on the area you live, he looked at my area and said that risk is way low, especially for newer cars equipped with so much OEM security stuff.
