my problem with the FX is that it has not aged well, and that is not a surprise with its radical styling. And they are either a love it or hate it design...bad bad for resale.

Essentially an unchanged design. I like the design though.

I typically trade my cars in and did OK on the trade amount.

Rear vents

FYI.. there are rear A/C vents, they are just under the front seats.

I don't think they are true vents. I think my dealer said they are some kind of cooling element. I wonder how well they work. Any RDX owners in hot climes who can tell us before next summer?

I wouldn't call them rear AC vents as they are primarily used only for heat. they blow out the same as the floor vents in the front. I suppose you could have your AC blowing at your feet, but thats not the norm.

Don't know about any "cooling elements" there. Sounds made up to me.

These are the numbers i came up with:
RDX 39.2
CX-7 37.4
Rav4 34.8
2007 Cr-V 37.8
2006 Cr-V 34.7
MDX 37.8
Murano 37.4
FX 38.7
RX350 37.4
Forester 34.8
X3 38.4
B9 37.4
--Lorraine

This is why I will never buy an Acura product again with the exception of the their MDX. All their sedans has a turning radius of 39 feet while the competition is around 37 or less.

Is the turning radius that important in car purchase decision making? All you have to do is backup once and proceed, right? unless you need to make U-turns in tight streets all the time...

I used to agree with that ... until we moved to Boston. Here, a wide turning radius can be a PITA.

So far, havee not had an issue with the RDX.
