I don't know if any of you are as paranoid as I am about getting your RDX dinged up in parking lots, but if you are (I imagine a few of you are...
) then check out this product:

I just got a set of these and they are really made well and would appear to work great. They stick out about 3" in diameter and since they are magnetic, you can place them at any height. I've been using them on my RDX and place them about where the body side molding would go, but since they stick out further, they will block doors from different heights. They are covered in a heavy nylon-like fabric that is easy to brush off and clean, therefore keeping dirt from scratching your paint when you place it on the car. You get 4 of them, 28" each which easily covers all your doors and in fact even goes to near the wheel wells.

Seems like in the 2 minutes it would take to put them on, you could just park somewhere else. I think I will stick to my tried and true parking techniques. It's not like I can't use the exercise anyway.

1. yes they look really ugly
2. people will steal them
3. they are magnetized therefore attracting any minute metallic objects that may scratch your car.
i would hate to see what would happen if someone dragged that gaurd across your door. *cringe*

even if it works, i mean, in a really small parking spot, if u attach on of these thing on ur door, the door opening space for the car that parked next to you will decrease, and the worst case is that they can't get out of their car.............that thing is HUGEE

To each their own! After too many door dings, I am finally happy with this solution - just thought I'd pass it along....IMO, they are a whole lot better looking than the dents I have in my other car....those never come off!
Honestly, I have no room to talk. When I was younger, I would carry a car cover around to cover my car with in parking lots. Slapping on a few bumpers on probably takes less time than that.
I think they would draw even more attention to your vehicle and may cause the jealous type to purposely "ding" your door.
The mentality of some people is "you have, I don't", so they either want to trash what you have or take what you have. It's sad, but true and getting worse everyday.

I saw once in a parking garage in downtown Chicago a Z4 that had these 2 black plastic bags you know the ones that old ladies carry around. On these bags it said "please don't dent my car". i was like wtf?
